Born February 12, 1984 in California, holder of the longest fight win streak in UFC history, the man known as ‘El Cucuy’, Ferguson spent most of childhood in Michigan. During his High School years, he showed promise in football, baseball, and wrestling. After enrolling in Central Michigan University, Ferguson made his name in collegiate wrestling, winning the Collegiate Association’s wrestling championship in 2006. Moving back to California to be with his family following college, he was invited to work with young Mixed Martial Artists on their technique. It was during this that Ferguson decided to make a career out of it, starting with small MMA organizations around California. By the time he got accepted at the UFC in 2010, he had a professional record of 10-2.
